The Oberhasli is nestled between the 5 Alpine passes: Jochpass, Sustenpass, Grimselpass, Grosse Scheidegg and Brünig. The difference in altitude from the lowest to the highest point is around 3500 metres. Much is accessible with mountain railways or post buses.

Meiringen was already an important tourist resort at the end of the 20th century. At the turn of the century Meiringen had half as many hotels as our main town. Shortly afterwards, its attractiveness was expanded with a tram and a casino.
A wide range of leisure activities such as an indoor tennis hall, fitness centre, climbing hall, skater park, outdoor and indoor swimming pools etc. still await you today. The three museums (Haslimuseum, Naturkundliches Museum and Sherlock Holmes Museum) offer interesting insights into the respective topics.
After stops abroad, on cruise ships and at various locations in the Bernese Oberland, we have been running the Hotel Meiringen / Restaurant Pizzeria Bahnhöfli since the beginning of 2018.
