The Grindelwalderhof is a modern chalet hotel. Our comfortable and cosy rooms and apartments are furnished with lots of wood and almost without exception have a balcony with a breathtaking view of the Eiger.

Thanks to our central location, there are not only ski and village bus stops, ski school and mountain guide offices, but also numerous nightlife possibilities in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Each of our double rooms (also bookable as single rooms) is spacious, cosy and furnished with lots of wood and has the following facilities:

- Bathroom with shower tray, washbasin and WC
- Flat-screen TV with extensive range of television and radio stations
- Free internet access (WLAN) and telephone
- Minibar (subject to a fee) and kettle with different kinds of tea

Almost all rooms have a balcony and a breathtaking view of the Eiger.

In addition to the regular hotel rooms, we also offer 4 different apartments especially for the perfect family holiday with children:

Breakfast

After a relaxing night, enjoy our rich breakfast buffet. From 7.00 am to 10.00 am we offer you a rich selection of local products in our breakfast room or on request in your room (for room service we charge CHF 10.00 extra):

- Coffee, tea and milk specialities,
- Fruit juices and mountain water,
- Baked goods from the village bakery,
- delicious sandwich spreads,
- a fine selection of sausages and cheeses,
- various breakfast cereals, fresh fruit, fruit and natural yoghurt from the region
- as well as fresh breakfast eggs from the regional farm.

Sauna

All our room and apartment prices include the use of our hotel sauna. The sauna is open 24 hours a day for you.

Our friendly staff will do everything they can to help you relax and feel at home after a day of skiing or hiking.

How to find us

Our hotel is centrally located on Grindelwald's Dorfstrasse and is easily accessible from the train station or by car.

We provide a limited number of parking spaces in our own underground garage as well as at the hotel. External parking spaces cost CHF 10.00 per day and garage spaces are charged at CHF 20.00 per day.
