The centre of Wengen, the railway station and the Männlichen cable car can be reached on foot within 10 minutes from Hotel Alpenruhe.
Ski boots can be stored free of charge in the sports shop Central Sport. This is located next to the Wengen-Männlichen cable car. Luggage transfer from and to Wengen railway station is available free of charge. A pick-up service from Wengen railway station is available on request.
Wengen is virtually car-free and cannot be reached by private transport. You can park your car in one of the car parks near the station in Lauterbrunnen. During the day there is a train from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen every 30 minutes. Please check the timetable when you arrive in the evening, as fewer trains run then.
